Been working on this Native American Indian portrait through the day. 1)Started off in green pastel - very weak with bad everything! 2)Moved onto brown - very distorted!. 3)Did another version which had a teeny glimmer of hope and 4)finally my 4th version in black and grey and white pastels is the best I think I am going to get today. Still a bit wooden but a good exercise in observing shapes. I believe this image is copyright free as it was taken before 1900 but if anyone knows differently please tell me and I will remove it -
