Before 2014 goes tearing out the back door...lets take a moment to appreciate what Mr Sage Francis did this year. Not content with releasing the album of the year in Copper Gone, Uncle Sage proceeded to do one of the biggest and most insane tours Ive ever seen... covering the US, UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia & Japan... as his own tour manager, roadie and everything else thats required. I got the pleasure of joining him for the UK leg and, more importantly, got the pleasure of seeing the reaction on the faces of everyone that attended. This dude MUST have damn near killed himself to pull off a run like this but he has done so for all the people that say you never play here and for all those that had previously missed their chance. If you missed this tour, I feel bad for you son. But if you dont already have Copper Gone go grab it from speechdevelopmentrecords or strangefamousrecords (or itunes or wherever).
