Before I entered the world of being an ofw, I have experienced schooling in college, working, servant and many others that a person like me, who came from a simple family, is commonly doing just to support our needs. I had experienced all those things just for my family because thats how much I love them. But there is no permanent thing in this world except change and I am one of those victims. Work, place, culture, weather, everything changed when I started being an OFW. What is the real life of an ofw? It is about your love of your family, being brave in sailing to other country without knowing what fate awaits my future, adapting the environment from a four-seasoned country to an unordinary weather, sacrificing from being an ordinary person to being somebody whom you need to become, being independent no matter how hard your work, you are in good condition or sick the work must goes on, understanding no matter how cruel and heavy the work and responsibilities are, and above all, believing in God that no matter how far you are separated from your family, still He gave us a good health and well determined body just to support the needs of my family. That is the life of an ofw, Giving your all in the midst of sacrificing your life where you find your happiness. It is not just a happiness, it is a real one which is a fruit of the efforts you planted. And all that are possible through Gods will, so never lost your faith in Him, instead, trust in Him.
