We have buses that run into Scotland, Hoke, Bladen, and Dillon Counties. Our buses cover A LOT of ground in the mornings and afternoons. Just because the majority of our county will not be effected, certain parts will. We cant tell part of the county to go to school and allow the other part to stay home. As educators, it is our obligation to ensure that our children are safe at ALL times. If it means staying home from school during hazardous conditions and making up the day when the sun is shining brighter, then that is what we will do. You all know as well as I do that the moment something happens to MAMAs BABY, there will bigger fish than school cancellation to fry.
