Before you judge me or tell me how lucky I am that I get to take painkillers on a daily basis, know that Im on them for legit pain. Know that my pain is so bad that coming off the narcotics isnt even an option. Know that Im not on them to get high. I dont experience euphoria when I take my medicine. I can drive a car, do school work, have normal conversations. I function much better. My days are easier when Im on my medicine. Ive been on painkillers since I was 15, & theyve actually improved my quality of life. Dont sit there and tell me how lucky I am that I can take narcotics daily. And dont judge me for taking them. Im living with pain, and a lot of it. Thats the only reason Im on pain medication - to HELP with the pain.👌
