Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. (Luke 10:19 ESV) Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. (Matthew 18:18-19 ESV) The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man. (Psalm 115:16 ESV) God will not do for us that which He has given us authority to do. If we are waiting on God to stop the enemy from harassing us, our children, our neighborhood, our communities, our workplaces, our businesses, our places of worship, our governments, and many other institutions of our lives, WE HAVE GOT IT ALL WRONG. Just like the president of the country has delegated his authority to ministers and mayors to run the provinces and municipalities, God has delegated His authority to His children all over the world. When there is trouble in Duncan Village, a simple phone call to those given authority to enforce law and order is all that is required and they come to the scene and do what needs to be done. Christians have been given authority to trample over snakes and scorpions and OVER ALL POWER OF THE ENEMY yet day in and day out THEY PRAY TO GOD BEGGING HIM TO TAKE THE ENEMY OFF THEIR CASE. God is not confused, He will not do for you and I what He gave us authority to do, we will do it ourselves. If you know Jesus is in you then you have this authority, so begin to use it and stop whining about the what the devil did, has done or is doing to you. ...In My name THEY will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18 NKJV emphasis added) Who is THEY? Thats believers. Who are believers? People who believe in Jesus. What do they believe about Jesus? Everything He said about Himself, and everything the Bible says about Him. Are you a believer in Christ Jesus? If so, start acting like one and tell the devil where to get off. You dont pray for the devil to leave you, you use your authority and TELL him to vacate your space and your life. You have authority over all the power of the enemy, JUST BELIEVE. Shalom
