Being a police mans wife is like constantly poking a mama bear. I have missed most of the issues in the news lately, but am picking up the parts of the story, as people constantly are posting horrible comments about police in general. I find it extremely ironic at peoples ability to judge and criticize a situation in which they have never been in, nor hope to be. I truly hope that they never have to decide in a split second, do they protect themselves, eliminate a threat that is clearly making them uncomfortable, ever changing, and worry that the very decision to fight back, may not be a popular decision. Instead, do they chose to continue to think and ponder, get injured or killed during that split second therefore never see their family again simply because they wear a uniform and are doing a job. Please tell me what individual other than military, firemen, and policemen signs up for 45K a year to possibly lose their life in the line of duty, just for showing up to do a job that is rarely appreciated until those who need it.
