Being a teenager is hard at the best of times, but sometimes I and the family forget what it must be like for James or any non verbal child what it must be like when people are shouting at them or telling them they are not being good, when half the time he has not got a clue what we are talking about and cant fight his cause with speech, so reacts in anger, aggression and tears. Really not sure how I would cope, it is sometimes hard to express yourself with speech , so not sure how I would be without my voice!!
