Being extremely grateful for all of your warm birthday messages and friendships. This summer has been too intense and too dramatic to articulate. Accidents, warfare, and other kinds of catastrophes have been haunting peoples daily life throughout the globe. Personally, I also lost a great friend and mentor just a week ago and still trying to comprehend his sudden absence. Working with a team of enthusiastic fellows and teachers in KL for the symposium titled Revisiting Malaya focusing on the subject of political and historical thoughts which formulate the current circumstance in Malaysia, SG, and other countries in the region. It is truly a privilege to spend my birthday working in such a meaningful gathering, to observe all these exchanges about that long-lost past , and to seek for remedies for our amnesia in a historical sense collectively. Thank you all again for everything you have brought to my life and allow me continuously to learn from all of you.
