Being supportive of The Campo de Cahuega Historical Site, Actor-Performer/Writer-Director, Historian, Edward Moch (aka: Alfred Cota) has appeared from time to time at the Annual Re-Enactment of The Historic Signing and Treaty of Cahuenga. Besides being directly related to The Spanish-Californios and Anglos that attended and witnessed the signing... Both of Ed Mochs Great Great Grandfathers, Capt. Dexter Mason and Joseph Lienkauf, were personal friends of Gen. and Mrs. John Charles Fremont, in which his Great Grandmother and Great Granduncle were named after them. Besides the historical family association, by way of of His Great Great Grandmother, Donah Benrimo-Lienkauf, he has direct cousins that go back to American Stage-Theater, The Arts and The Early Motion Picture Industry. Directly related to many noted individuals in Show Business, he is also related to most if not all of the Old Original Pre to Post-Hollywood Movie Families, which also includes, Motion Picture Mogul, Carl Laemmle, The Founder of Universal Pictures. Directly concerned with Historic Preservation of structures and places since he was a young Teenager-Member of The Bronx County Historical Society (BCHS), he is a Present Recognized Member of The Pioneer-Business Merchants, The Los Pobladores/ Rancho Families of California. He is also an advocate supporter of The preservation of film and related media. His Living History Portrayals, is part of his way to preserve and give back to the-community-at-large, his understanding of the importance of preserving Our History.
