*Belief* It’s difficult to hate you,” he said, a day after she annoyed him by logically explaining why they couldn’t be lovers. She had tried to push him away from her really hard. Not because she wanted to, but because she had started wanting him too much, and that was making his life worse. She could understand, he was not single. She had tossed and turned the whole night, thinking he would never talk to her anymore. She was imagining her nights without a goodnight text. She could not help tears rolling down her cheeks, realizing how difficult it was going to be to stay away from him. She would miss his late night calls, his cute voice and his outpourings of love. But she had decided to stay in his life in any form. Be it friendship or whatever. She wanted him to be in peace. Thank God! she said to herself with a relieved sigh.
