Besides today being Friday "the" 13th, today also marks the one month point until the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! I have never worked so hard for something in my whole entire life: I will have trained for 36 weeks, I paid the $175 registration fee out of my own pocket, I signed up for this race not knowing if anyone would be able to come with me to cheer me on -- and to be honest I am extremely nervous! Thank you for everyone who has been supporting me along the way! Who knows, maybe I will be up for Boston this year ;) I still need to raise $375.00 to reach my goal of $1,000 dollars THIS MONTH. So far our team has raised a total of $48,074, which means 8 children are going to have their wishes come true!
