Best dream ever: I was invited with a small group of people to Bjorks house to explore, experience the universe she had created there, and to meet her briefly. The house was huge and every room was filled with intricate curiosities--handmade strange dolls, petrified and painted flowers, altars filled with tiny creatures, wire-wrapped fabric decorations, etc. One of her guards told me to make sure to ask if I could choose a handmade gift to take on my way out. There was a train station in the house, and if you walked around behind it, there was a secret theatre where unspeakably weird performances were taking place. And everyone was allowed to roam freely through and choose where to spend the limited amount of time we were given. When I met her, she was sitting inside a room that was made to look like a cage, playing a bunch of synthesizers and wearing an elaborate kimono with red silk sleeves, icy blue colored contacts, and an insane amount of hair adornments. She was awesome, totally sweet and asked for my input on the animatronic movements she was practicing because she told me she was trying to become a robot. Yassssssssssssssssss unconscious. Sometimes you rule so hard. I wish I could have a camera implanted in my brain to record my dreams so I could watch them again.
