Ive been travelling North a lot lately, on my eternal pilgrimage, between Scotland and Iceland and Scandinavia , cus I released that whilst I know a bit , about the Norsemen and Co , dont really know enough about the Celtic religion outside of Ireland and Scotland , mainly cus the Eddas and the sagas of the north north , are hard going and still like reading a foreign language with all those quirky names, ..but I have been persevering , cus part of the journey need to get my head around ...and I have to say stumbled across a few gems ...but getting to my point I stumbled across this one .......THE FATE OF THE GODS AND OF THE WORLD ...the story ends with the DOOM or WEIRD of the Gods ...if anyone dont know the northern Gods are basically mortal men who can become immortal but thats another story , and legend has it as with most mythology , that some of the characters are based on real stories , and Gods like Odin where alleged to be real Kings ...well cutting it to the quick , according to the story , because of events that where set in the beginning of the World ( which are none negotiable } and because of the behaviour of Gods and Men the end dictates that the Gods definitely practically all Die never to come again , after massive war between the Gods , and planetry disruption , earthquakes , mini ice ages , eclipses and stuff in the sky , and basically the total flooding of the planet , and then fire ......ie the earth sinks into the sea ...Then nearly all the Gods are dead , earth and mankind have perished ...then a new earth emerges out of the sea , and certain Gods return , sons of Odin , Sons of Thor and a few others .....and TWO of Mankind , Lif and Lifthrasir , who have been hid in Hoddmimirs wood , and they become the Parents , of the NEW RACE of MANKIND ..and then the MIGHTY ONE , Greater than ALL , his NAME not to be spoken , who will rule all lands and hold all power forever ....The End and ssssssssh , we cant name him because HE IS GOD ..... I AM is who he is , and always will be ..........Now theres a Pagan ending for Us All eh, and havnt we been told in so many different ways already , not to yet get it ...Amen X
