Between a news story I read today, where kid killed someone based on the video games he played and seeing/hearing kids talk about nothing but video games, I am blessed that my children arent into them. They know what it means to play outside, use their imagination in a positive way and are able to carry on constructive conversations with others that arent video game based. What is being taught to children who are obsessed with video games? Violence, self seclusion from others in their age group and how to be zombies of technology in a false world that isnt reality. I refuse to engage in conversation with a child who will only talk about video games. I make them actually converse about other topics. Kids are our future. What we put into them today is what we get out of them tomorrow. Our future will depend on them someday...
