Between the belief that God constantly intervenes in everything, - TopicsExpress

Between the belief that God constantly intervenes in everything, even the most insignificant things, and the belief that there is no God, atheism, or you dont know whether there is a God or not, agnosticism, there is also deism, which is basically the belief that God set into motion the natural forces that created the world and universe, but basically leaves it to its own devices, doesnt intervene for whatever reasons, whether free will or something else. I would call myself more a deist in my thinking because I dont think God is constantly intervening in the world for every little thing. But I think God helps you get through things without necessarily intervening to make it better. There is too much injustice and suffering in the world to say God intervenes. That is not to say that I dont believe that the Prophets of the World Religions were not inspired by God and are different paths to the same thing. I think they all were inspired and that there are many paths to God. I happen to follow the Christian path, although the liberal Christian path, not anything like the fundamentalist one lol.
