Beware of computer scam We would like to urge residents to be vigilant after a householder in Blackwood was contacted by telephone by someone purporting to be from a computer software company and asked to fix their computer. The man said he had conducted a health check on their computer, asked them for their bank details and charged them for it. We would like to remind residents to never give bank details to anyone over the phone unless you know exactly what you are paying and who you are paying. If you believe you have been contacted in this way, please report it at actionfraud.police.uk/
