Bewitched Farm is almost ready for winter. The beautiful sign at - TopicsExpress

Bewitched Farm is almost ready for winter. The beautiful sign at the front of our driveway has been removed and placed into storage to wait out winter inside. It is by township rules a temporary sign and must be removed for some undefined period of time. Silly perhaps, but a good excuse to bring it in during the winter. All has been cleared from the gardens that can be removed except for the Indian corn. That will come down before the winter snows and continue to dry indoors in the barn. After all, according to our township, the reason given in the cease and desist order we received, as to why we can no longer allow people to have parties or weddings is, that a barn is a barn, is a barn. Surly that makes as much sense to you as it does to me. In their wisdom, and with their clear vision of our countries history, they know that there never really were Barn Dances, Barn Parties, or other things done in barns in the past. Barns are only used for machinery and animals, right? Never anything else, ever in the history of barns. SURE! Now I understand their reasoning clearly. Dont you! I hope this will help those of you who have asked if you could come and enjoy the ambience her at the Farm, why at this time I must say no. After all, a barn, is a barn, is a barn. Makes perfect sense. Have a safe winter, enjoy the Hollidays, and look for activity to begin in the fields around mid April as we prepare for the spring crop of rhubarb in May.
