Bey and Dolly were tied at 46 Grammy noms apiece early Friday morning, but thanks to Beyoncés critically acclaimed album Beyoncé scoring a Best Urban Contemporary Album nomination, Queen Bey now reigns supreme as the most Grammy-nominated woman ever with 47 noms. And the 2015 Grammy nominations have yet to be revealed in full! So it’s possible Beyoncé may rack up a few more nods by the end of the day, including the night’s top prize, Album of the Year. Beyoncé is no stranger to Grammy accolades. Bey has taken home 17 shiny gramophones so far. But given the quality of her latest studio effort, dont be surprised if that total increases at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. If Bey does win Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2015 show, she’ll be tied with Aretha Franklin at 18 Grammy wins apiece. But it’s going to take the “Drunk in Love” singer a few more albums to catch up with the most decorated female artist in Grammy history, Alison Krauss, who has a staggering 27 trophies to her name.
