Big cover up in todays dailies about the 5 RKS Boys. The only - TopicsExpress

Big cover up in todays dailies about the 5 RKS Boys. The only truth therein is that the Ministry of Education gave the directive for the release of the players. Indirectly pinning the blame of non-release on the Principal. How absurd!!. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Boys themselves wanted to realise their dreams of wresting the Under 18 title. They were in tears yesterday when they were taken to camp by the FRU officials. Now does that indicate a third party holding them back. I guess not. What the papers did not say in the papers were the volatile situation RKS was in after FRUs action yesterday morning. How the RKS community especially the students were greatly affected yesterday. The two FRU officials have first hand experience of that. Such cover-up is warranted to deflect attention from the root causes and keep it safely under the carpet. This needs to be addressed to avoid recurrence of such incidents in future. To the rest of the boys, use this to fuel and motivate you as you step onto the field on Saturday. You have been in this team this season for a reason. Your teammates will now lead Fijis campaign in the Youth Olympics and they know fully well that you will rise and play as they would have with the Lodoni spirit, passion and pride. The whole RKS community is behind you and will be there to cheer you on the day. All we ask of you is to give your best, your very best and throw everything in. God puts us in difficult situation so that we will not depend on our capabilities. Overconfidence to be out the door and for us to know that we need him. Sometimes you may think you are second best. In David, when everyone else saw a shepherd boy, God saw a King. From a shepherd boy, he took on Goliath and became a king. Believe in yourself and believe in that teammate standing right beside you. Impossible is nothing. Mai Lodoni Mai
