Big day for Maddie today. About 2 years ago she perforated her ear drum while playing in the pool. We have waited for it to heal itself, but just hasnt happened. Going to the beach was hard (salt water in ear) and having a pool but not being able to go under was tough too. She wants to get into water Polo or some sort of swimming sport...hoping this surgery to replace/patch her ear drum will be a success! If all goes well today, around 1030 my time she will be going under to fix it. Ill let you know how things go. Please say a quick prayer for a simple, successful and short surgery :-)
