Bill, It’s official: the Tea Party will spend whatever it takes to win big this year. Our Republican counterpart just reported a whopping $50 million raised in 2013—that’s $50 million to spend on negative attacks on Democrats and image makeovers for their right-wing candidates. But here’s the good news: we know how to win close races. Since the Tea Party wave of 2010, we have won 8 out of 9 competitive governors’ races against the Republicans, while being outspent in all but one of them.
