Black people, when will we ever learn that in most cases, Whites love us not for who we are, but for what we can do for them? Im not saying there are no genuine Whites, Im sure there must be a few of them somewhere in this country. What Im saying is that Whites in general dont associate with Blacks unless theres something in it for them. They know that post-1994, policies across all spheres are focused on the empowerment of Blacks, so when they associate with Blacks, its largely because they stand to gain something from that association. Yet, so many of us continue to believe that they love us so much because we are such nice people. Look here, people, if Whites in their majority really loved us, they would denounce and fight to annihilate this post-apartheid colonial reality of our country. They would be swelling the ranks of the progressive student movement and fighting against the exclusion of poor Black students. They would be claiming the congress movement from regressive elements as opposed to making it their lifes mission to demonise it. They would be insisting on the restructuring of agricultural colleges and teaching there, so that they groom Black agriculturists who would have the necessary skills to champion agrarian reform when land reform is accomplished. They would be leading a powerful movement against White monopoly capital, because they know too well that structural inequalities are a product of this very construct. But they are not doing it, because in their majority, they dont give a damn about the Black Condition. Lets get it through our heads: WHITES IN THEIR OVERWHELMING MAJORITY DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE BLACK CONDITION!
