Blacklisted…. (I dont begin to compare with Pete) . I have a history of frostbite (stuck 8-900 feet high on a vertical icefall in a freak sleet storm) and almost lost fingers and toes. Once this happens, your circulation is compromised and you are much more sensitive to cold and likely to suffer it again. . My reward for twice volunteering and serving as a combat medic in Vietnam and for ALWAYS being top salesperson in my district, mostly way high paying pharmaceutical and orthopedic sales positions, was to be fired a few times and then blacklisted by the medical industry for my political work which I never discussed with anyone in a job related context. The last time I was fired, my wife fired me too and I lost everything I ever worked for – all of it. . Im O.K. Retired after five years putting up satellite TV and internet systems, not one sick or bad weather day off and 60 to 80 hr weeks to pay off all the debt - only job I could get. 38 below 0, winds on roof up to 80 mph, steep roof at night in sleet storm, blizzards, running cables on buildings under drip edge waterfalls in rainstorms - every day and situation plus I got the jobs others were too scared to climb. (I know ropes…) Most young men cant handle this. I did it my 60s, an age where you start losing friends from old age. . I now have a lovely house (click it up on my FB page), an amazing special friend and I work unpaid with Veterans for Peace and Vietnam Veterans Against the War / OSS. Getting here was rough but my health is perfect, I’m high energy at 67, and I plan on being around for a long time. Karma has blessed me in the end, my friends are the best possible and life goes on with continued meaning. Experience has taught me to hate corporations and everything they represent. Blacklisted means they respect what you do...
