Blanchard road between US127 and Loomis road will be closed for the next ten days. Access to the highway can still occur from the West as you travel East but not from the East traveling West. The drain commission has hired a contractor to place some culverts in that area. The detour is Looms road to Pleasant Valley Road then back to Genuine or Shepherd road/Chippewa Street. Please take some extra time in your travels if you have to use the detour. As of tomorrow there will be sections of roadway removed and it will NOT be passable by anyone.
