Bless everyone. I was graced to preach this a Liberty Temple Chicago, at the early service last sunday. I sent this out before. Also, I am excited and encouraged because I just finished putting together the cover for my first book, No Deposit, No Return. It looks like everything is in order for the book to be out soon. They are looking everything over now, and after that, I submit the final form of the book as it will be published, and it should be out soon afterwards. Please pray that it will be a best seller. Things concerning the bible is really what I want to do. Closer than they appear I was looking at my outside mirror on my car. The mirror had something written on it. It said objects in mirror are closer then they appear. That was written there to help the driver judge distances between his or her car, and a car that is behind us, but moving towards us. this to help you to know that things that you see in the mirror, are closer than they look ! If you study, in more than one place, we see in the scriptures that the bible is depicted as a mirror. Wait a minute. So the objects, blessings, promises that you read in the bible are closer than they appear ! So your blessings are closer than you think. Dont give up. he enemy tries to make you think that you will never get your blessing, but it is closer, for you, than it appears ! II Cor. 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. The word transformed her in Greek is the present passive tense, which means being transformed. It is the passive tense, because you have nothing to do with this process, it is being done to you !! Being transformed means this is not a quick change. This is the Greek word metamorphoo. We get our English word metamorphosis from this word. We are being changed like a caterpillar to a butterfly in the Spirit. The pupa stage comes about, it is dark in there, the soon to be butterfly is alone, and it had to go out on a limb, to hang there and be changed !!As you read you are going to the butterfly stage in the Spirit ! The glass here is a mirror, and that mirror is the bible. As we read the Word, things are happening. You are being changed ! The wife beater somehow reads the gospel, and he is changed! He does not want to hit his wife anymore. Changed by the word. And you are changed into the image of the glory of what you read in the word. As you read about the (objects) things in the word, blessings, miracles, you are changed as you read, but the blessings promised in the word, are closer than they appear II cor 3:18 Message Bible Nothing between us and God., our faces shining with the brightness of His face, and we are transfigured much like the Messiah, ,our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives, we become like Him. It says here we gradually become brighter! it is not an immediate change. It is gradual. You are not even aware that you are going from one rung of glory to the next, on the Glory ladder, as you read the word.
