Blessed Winter Solstice to One and All! This Solstice is brought - TopicsExpress

Blessed Winter Solstice to One and All! This Solstice is brought to you by the New Moon in Capricorn! This New Moon is particularly strong, in that it has affects on the tone of the coming year. During a Capricorn New Moon, we would focus on creating intentions in the realms of Security, Responsibility, Discipline, Personal Authority. Capricorn (& Saturn) rule areas of our lives that include Professional Ambition, Accomplishing Goals, Respect (of self & others), Tradition. In our physical bodies, we become aware of our bones & teeth, joints, skin & gall bladders; so any discomfort here can be addressed accordingly. On the other side of Capricorn, we bear in mind aspects to heal such as Moodiness, Fear of Change, Being Overly Stern & Pessimistic. We keep our intentions positive & in the present tense when setting them in place during a Capricorn New Moon. For example, well create an affirmation such as: I embrace my responsibility in creating a professional goal that supports my future/financial security, or I release my fear of change so that I may explore new approaches to achieving my goal of ____. Remember, Capricorn is all about efficiency in the physical/material world. This is a good time to get your stuff together & make a sensible plane for the coming year. And the Solstice supports these goals. Winter Solstice, although is the shortest day of the year, gains us one minute of light per day starting on 12/22. truly the Return of the Light after our season of darkness & introspection. As the light grows, it lends energy to the New Moon intentions we have set into motion. We need to be specific in setting these intentions, as the Universe gives us that for which we ask, so be mindful of your language use. I will be creating a New Moon/Solstice Blessing Circle Sunday evening at 5PM at the Fort Island Trail Beach, complete with smudging, after my gig at the Mall. Please feel free to join me in a write & burn. Bring a drum, if you have one. This is informal and all are welcome to join the Celebration. Message me here if you have any questions.
