Blount County Schools Registration Information *All Blount County Schools will be open on Tuesday, July 30 for registering students. *Elementary schools will register from 7:45-11:45 AM. All students, both new and returning should report to their assigned school unless noted otherwise. Rockford Elementary is asking that all students bring proof of residency. *New and transferring students to Heritage Middle School and Union Grove Middle School should register between the hours of 8 a.m. until 12:00 in the schools’ main office. *All incoming students to Carpenters Middle should report to schools between 8 a.m. and 12 to pick up their schedules and school supply lists. *Eagleton Middle School needs only new or transferring students to come on registration day. Schedules will not be ready for pickup. Students new to the Blount County school system should present a birth certificate or officially acceptable evidence of data of birth, evidence of a current medical examination, evidence of state-required immunization, social security card and a proof of residency. *Both Heritage and William Blount High School will offer freshmen orientation from 8:30 a.m. until 12. New students to either high school may also register during this time. While freshmen orientation is not mandatory it is highly encouraged. *Students new to the Blount County school system should present a birth certificate or officially acceptable evidence of data of birth, evidence of a current medical examination, evidence of state-required immunization, social security card and a proof of residency. Parents of new kindergarten students will also need to provide a dental examination record of their child.
