Bob Barker paid $1 million to transport three elephants from the Toronto Zoo to their forever home, a sprawling sanctuary in northern California. Barker was among those who lobbied heavily to get the elephants moved from the zoo, which was very uncooperative. The elephants will live in the largest captive wildlife sanctuary in the US, ARK 2000, which is run by Performing Animal Welfare (PAWS).
