KATE sest re-intensifier en un cyclone tropical hier soir et a même atteint le stade de cyclone tropical intense, selon le BOM Australie ce matin. Les rafales près du centre sont estimée a 232km/h. L’œil est parfaitement visible sur les images satellite maintenant. KATE devrai penetrer notre zone de responsabilité ce mardi 30 Dec 2014, et être ainsi pris en charge par le CMRS La Réunion. ====== As ststed yesterday, KATE has re-intensify to tropical cyclone strength and even to intense tropical cyclone status this morning, as per the BOM. An eye is clearly visible on satellite pictures now. BOM Australia report 30/12/2014 : Intensity: category 4, sustained winds near centre 167 km/h, with wind gusts 232 km/h. Location: within 35 kilometres of 16.4 degrees South, 90.5 degrees East , 830 kilometres southwest of the Cocos Keeling Islands . Movement: south southwest at 14 kilometres per hour .
