Borrowed from Vizconnect CBA Harry Snyder. VizConnect Video Mobile Media Marketing Review Here is my first hand review of the product. VizConnect is unique in that it is a B2B (Business to Business) product that is uniquely attractive to any business. But – it is also a MLM (Multi Level Marketing) product that should be attractive to anybody looking to make part time or full time income with it. At a subscription cost to a business of only $50/month for 10 QR codes with no contract and no commitment, it is extremely easy to sell. This low price point makes it attractive to MLMers too as it is easy to attract new distributors. The sign up cost starts at a one time fee of only $79.95. Don’t let the low subscription cost fool you. Where the real money making opportunity comes in is with the team building bonuses. Much more on this later below. I am using the product and selling it to my clients. My own business is social media marketing, search engine marketing and mobile media marketing. All my clients love the idea and what it can do. As an internet marketing consultant, I was making use of all the pieces individually before I heard about VizConnect. Now that I have started using it, it has cut down my implementation efforts considerably and has provided my clients a much more robust and flexible solution. Also being a provider of mobile websites for my clients, this system is ideal for linking to mobile websites, providing a full turn key mobile friendly experience. First and foremost, Vizconnect is a product that supplies a real need in the industry, helping small and medium sized businesses build and promote their brand using mobile media marketing. It helps them acquire more customers, and more importantly, engage them to do more and more business. In addition to a B2B product, VizConnect is also an MLM with a very good commission plan. Who is VizConnect and where did it start? By now you may have heard about VizConnect. It is a mobile media marketing company started last fall by a group of 4 people out in Springfield MASS. The pioneer behind the company was a gentleman by the name is Ed Carroll, who used to be a weatherman at one of Boston’s premier TV channels, WBZ-TV. Ed and the other 3 founders had a vision to bring mobile media marketing to small and medium sized companies using mobile video marketing. Video has the advantage of allowing businesses to build and promote their brand visually and to establish rapport with their viewers, to degrees that print media and direct marketing techniques can never do. The goal was to provide a visual experience, but more importantly, provide a solution to convert the viewer into a buyer. To learn more about how video marketing works, watch this video. How did VizConnect do it? With QR Codes to start with The first version brought out last fall did that with QR codes. This week they are rolling out text messaging to complement it. VizConnect is a turn key system that allows you to associate a QR code (and soon text messaging) with a video and up to 5 calls to action. Using the simple user interface, you can create a QR code that is totally reusable and link it to a video that is invoked when scanned. Upon the completion of the video, the user is then given a choice of up to 5 calls to action such as a) click to call, b) share across social media, c) email to a friend, d) view and make use of discounts and coupons, e) click to order, f) visit my website, g) get maps and directions, h) make a donation etc. When linked and integrated with a compelling video, users have been show to be much more apt to take action and complete a purchase. Protecting your Investment As I mentioned before, the QR codes that VizConnect creates are totally reusable. Unlike everyday QR codes that you can create from many free sites, the QR code that VizConnect creates can be reused over and over and over. All you do is use the simple user interface to relink it to a new video or change the calls to action that the user is presented with after the video is over. Have a new promo or coupon? Simple. Just link the QR code to a new promotion when you change it. How do I scan a QR code? Industry data has shown that as of the end of 2012, more than 50 % all phones are now smartphones. There are loads of apps available for the iPhone and Droid families to scan QR codes. One of my favorite is QR Droid for the Droid family. ScanLife is another good app for the Droid. Vizconnect can even create custom QR codes. The addition of adding color or graphics or a call to action on the QR code itself can significantly increase the scan rate. Imagine the difference in scan rates when a user is presented with a plane black and white QR code versus being presented with one that said, ‘scan this QR code to receive your 50% off coupon”. Now TEXT Messaging too As of this last weekend, VizConnect has announced the addition of text messaging that can now be used as an alternative to QR codes for invoking the same user experience. As an example, a user would now have the ability to text a keyword like ‘coupon’ or ‘pizza” to a short code such as 12121 offered by a local business like a pizza restaurant. Upon texting the keyword, the user would then be presented with the same video and calls to action described above. The advantage to the pizza shop is that the pizza shop would now be legally able to text out periodic text messages when they wanted to run additional promotions such as ‘buy one pizza, get one free’ or buy one pizza and get a free liter of soda and a bag of chips”. Marketing is all about ‘the list’. There is nothing more powerful than having an ever growing database of customers to re-market to. I am sure you have all heard the old adage of it costing 7 times (or more) to acquire a new customer than to maintain an existing one. Now with text messaging this becomes easy to do since customers texting your keyword to you have given you legal permission to send them new promotions. Think of the additional business that would generate. Industry data has show that over 90% of all text messages are opened, and opened within 5 minutes. Try doing that with email marketing or direct mail. Couple that kind of an open rate with a visual presentation and a compelling offer and you get the idea why I am so bullish on this product. MLM TOO And if that wasn’t enough, Vizconnect is also a distributor business (MLM). For somebody interested in joining VizConnect’s MLM program, there are two different ways of joining. You can join as an IBA (Independent Business Associate ) for a one time fee of $79.95 and earn commissions as you sell subscriptions, with renewal commissions when they renew. Selling a single $ 50/month subscription would earn you a $25 commission and a minimum of 10% a month ($5) as a renewal commission. The more subscriptions, the higher the renewal percentage, up to 20%. You can also join as an Certified Business Consultant , earn money on subscription sales as just described, but also earn team building bonuses as you build your own team. The cost to become a Certified Business Consultant is $299.95. That is where the REAL money is to be made. The MLM plan for VizConnect is one of the most generous plans I have seen to date. VizConnect can afford to pay out such generous bonuses because distributors have no products to buy and no inventory to carry. As a cloud based service, their operating costs are nil and easily scaled as the company grows. VizConnect is easily a company you can earn money with working part time or full time as an MLM. If you wish to work this strictly from home, you can do that as well using internet marketing to recruit distributors under you. The plan uses a power matrix 7 levels deep and pays out to infinity. The plan has one feature I have never seen before in an MLM called a Pay Point Expansion option that allows you to place yourself back into your own matrix multiple times as you earn the option, enabling you to essentially start your 7 level power matrix all over again.
