Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia Residents In Zadidovici (BiH) Take Over Rescue, Evict Red Cross: Finally, Help Gets Where It’s Needed When we got in Zavidovici, the situation was already serious in the town but the river had not yet reached the buildings. We decided to sleep in town. Around 1 a.m. in the morning, alarms went off alerting that some building were flooded. We went to rescue the residents. The water was high but most buildings were still safe. At 5:15 a.m., we heard the sirens again. We gathered together and managed to get 4 boats, 3 of them were from private individuals, only one from the government, and we started to evacuate residents from the flooded houses.
