Boy, the things you dont know about your lipstick (which I seldom wear). When I was teaching at the high school level, I noticed the girls wear SO MUCH makeup. So one day, I told them about how lipstick is made from animal tallow. Whats that Ms. Belton? Let me put it like this - you are smearing bone marrow - that gooey stuff inside a bone - on your mouth! EEEWWW! OK, soooooo. Last week, we walk into a Publix Supermarket in south Georgia to purchase that goooooodddd fried chicken they make (REALLY GOOD), while on the road. Some of it had been cooked early in the day and was marked to expire at 4 p.m. The counter clerk comes out and says, let me pull those packs. We sell them to a lipstick company. You mean you dont give it away to homeless shelters or something? Why no, we sell it to a lipstick company. Why do you do that? Because thats what they use to make lipstick - they grind all of it up and then make the lipstick! Well, I guess a lot of women will NEVER go hungry then.....A makeover and a meal! WOW!
