Brandy A. Clark, Jamie Clark, Jessica Young Willett, Jean Anne White McNamara, Annmarie Munn, Deanna Hayes-Ryan, Brooke Anne Peria-Darrah, and all other PAL football parents: Tom Strack has been advised that he will not be coaching this year...the reason given was yelling on the field and the league is going in a different direction. Not just saying this because I am his wife: he has NEVER yelled on the field, at a player or coach, unless in a positive manner. After all that we, especially Tommy, have given to football the last four years, I am outraged and disgusted to say the least. Each year, so many parents, including the sitting commissioners (the same ones that made this decision), beg Tommy to coach again....because he is good with the kids, because he is fair, because the kids listen to him, because the kids learn from him, because he teaches sportsmanship--not just winning. He has no favorites (including his own son) and everybody plays! Thus, this information comes as quite a shock. This would have been his FIFTH year coaching. I am sure many (maybe not all) of you agree. Feel free to voice your opinion here, or contact your commissioners directly.
