Break Your Burdens Our whole world is full of opportunities. In every aspect of daily life we find new ways to exploit our virtues, expand our horizons and dream of a better life. But achieving this improvement is not always easy. Were born and our physical condition and mental condition are our first obstacles. Were half done, but slowly manage to adapt to the environment and, with help, gradually stand on our own. It is what we call a required dependency. However, the real barriers to our growth are unnecessary dependencies, those little things that bind us to our mediocrity and trigger a lack of ambition. Its true that the responsibilities imposed on us over the years are a great impediment to progress at the time. But we live continuously in these responsibilities and obligations, allotting them the role of burdens in our life, which, we say, prevent us from progressing. However, this is just a BIG LIE. The truth is that the single biggest burden is that we are easy prey to ourselves. Our fear of failure, our sham, our prejudices and our distrust of what we are and what we can get to can be part of this great burden, a heavy load to live with. This large bag of rocks gives us stability, often desired, caused by fear of the unknown and stagnation. Often this prevents us from finding out what were made of. If you really want to progress towards a better life, grow and evolve, you have to remember that these burdens will not fail to appear along the road. Daily renewed attempts may cut you off the pace. Perseverance and passion for what you do and what you want to be are the best sword and the best shield you can use to defend yourself. Do not ever stop fighting and remember that your only burden is YOU. Live free, die in peace. To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting. -- Edward Estlin Cummings Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swaps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, and its yours. -- Ayn Rand
