Break up the Doughboys, a first for the team in five tournaments, - TopicsExpress

Break up the Doughboys, a first for the team in five tournaments, we went 3-0. With Drew on the sidelines with injury, Uncles Kevin and Randy went home, and goalie Ryan Scott had prior commitments we called up Kyles buddy Chad Ticzon, and added a pair of 14 year olds, Evan Danko and goalie Jeremy Dutcawich. Up 2-0, down 3-2, tied at 5, up 9-5, then a couple of quick goals by Team Crone made it 9-7 but call-up Evan Danko scored on a point shot to make it 10-7. Kyle can still score as a married man as he had the first one, Chris Bortis had two, Tyler two, and our very own Mike Reagan led the way with three goals. The 8th and turns out to be GWG, as per video review, was by Trevor Watt, with amazing hand and coordination, deflecting a point shot for the 8th goal. With him and Daryl sharing the role as the 9th forward the extra rest proved to be the difference late in the game with this crucial goal. We had a great family support for this game as well and should get a group photo of the team and the cheering section sometime this week. The next Roller Goodwin tournament is in Calgary, Easter Weekend , 2015 and then likely back in Flin Flon in the summer of 2016, see you then if not sooner. We have had players from the Reagans, Stephanssons, OReillys, Watts, J. Floch Jr, and Paul Floch Jrs. A challenge goes out to Uncle Lois and Merles family, Dave and Germaines, and the Picards to send a player or two for the next tournament in 2016 in Flin Flon.
