Break up the Hard Ground The day has been hot and the ground has become dry, says the Lord. As you have faced the cares in the world and gone through your struggles, the ground of your heart has become dry and it is hard for anything to grow there. You have often asked me where my presence is or why the blessing has not come as you asked. It is because your heart is dry my child. The seeds lie in the soil and all you will ever need is inside of you, yet they cannot get out. They are trapped in the dryness and for the promises I have sown in your heart to prosper, the soil needs to become soft again. You soften the soil by first ploughing it and causing it to become broken up. As you come before me and let go of all your flesh and sin, you will break up that ground. Then once you have broken the ground, it is for me to send my water, which will come as you remain in my presence. So come then today and break up that hard ground! Let go of your anger and frustration. Do not be angry at situations you cannot control any longer and look to me instead as your solution. Do not strive in your flesh any longer, but let me break up that hardness and bring you to peace. As you lay all your sin down and humble yourself before me, come into my presence so that you can experience my rain. Then when that hard soil is broken up, I will sent my showers of blessing and the seeds that have been there all along will flourish once again. You will eat good fruit and be satisfied. You will experience peace that passes all understanding. So come now child and see that I have only good things in store for you. Humble yourself before me and see the good things I will do, says the Lord.
