Breaking Bad action figures at Toys R Us? Doctor who valiantly - TopicsExpress

Breaking Bad action figures at Toys R Us? Doctor who valiantly helped Ebola patients in West Africa comes home to NYC, uses subways, taxis, goes bowling! Forget the left, forget the right, forget conservative, forget liberal, forget if you believe in God or not... isnt there an inherent sense of right and wrong that lives in our hearts? I can make a good and rational argument for all sides of the above questions. Real and valid arguments supporting both... but come on people, truth, deep truth, the painful truth... have we lost sight of that altogether? This is made most difficult when you deal with issues like the above where talented, generous and wise, compassionate people are involved... and in the case of Breaking Bad, they are friends.... great people... still... No, lets keep Toys R Us for kids, at least the stores - you want the action figures as collectors, put them on line - give at least one sliver, one thin wall of protection to our children. That or put up a sign in a certain aisle that says, Nobody under 18 allowed. And a doctor coming back from West Africa who treated Ebola patients directly? I bow in gratitude for the brave, brave man. I do. I am humbled by your incredible service, you bravery. But you do not come back to a populated city, use public transportation and simply monitor yourself. Come on. And t his is not a fear thing or the promotion of it. This is common sense. The fact is despite what we are told, we do not know everything about this tragedy. And there is the chance, slim as it might be that between the two times a day you take your temperature to monitor yourself, the symptoms begin. And yes, while they are mild thus representing a very small amount of the virus in you, it is there. It hits you in the cab, the subway, or bowling. Sorry, and again, I bow in gratitude for what you have done to help those in need, you are better than me... but if you come back from direct contact with people with Ebola - lock yourself in your apartment for 21 days, order in Chinese, watch some Netflix and dont put 7 million people at risk. Just common sense. And thats what this is all about. Not the left, not the right, but common sense. I promise its in each of our hearts... buried deep perhaps, but I swear by God it is there. Right alongside love and honor - which I know all involved here are in touch with. And yes, this is one of my old fashioned rants. Like it or not. The world needs each of us to deploy the common sense that comes with this gift of life.
