Breast Cancer Update... Surgery July 16, 2014 which included 10 gy of radiation to the tumor area. Amazing news, the 6 mm tumor discovered 5+ months prior to surgery only grew 2 mm to 8 mm in Total. (Normal tumor doubles in 90 days) I had Clear Margins and Clear Lymph Nodes. So the changes I made to my life (our lives) including changes in diet (NO more Sugar, little or no simple carbs) and supplements; Turmeric w/Ginger, C, D3, Graviola, Sea Buckthorn, DIM, Green Tea, Fish Oil, and Magical Apricot Kernels... seem to have paid off. So in the interest of Full Disclosure - I have refused all additional medical treatments; Chemo, Herceptin, Estrogen Blockers and additional Whole Breast Radiation in favor of a lifestyle change to include all Natural Therapies. I continue to do yoga 3-4 times a week (a shout out to Kula Yoga Shala & Zeal Yoga) they are as much a part of my healthy lifestyle as whats at the end of my fork. Its My Body, and My Choice... also my Risk, but Im 100% comfortable with my choice. I believe that frame of mind along with a healthy & happy lifestyle is the key. I believe my most recent job (not the one of 15+ yrs) But where I thought the grass was greener... gave me a tremendous amount of stress on a daily basis and kicked my Adrenal Glands to a point where my body was not metabolizing my Estrogen. So a big thanks to them for kicking me off the Island, probably saved my life! Im now pursuing my Real Estate License next, so that I can Steer my own Ship.
