Brint (my 3yr old) and I were discussing the meaning of Thanksgiving earlier....(now try to imagine how this talk is going) We talked about the Pilgrims and the Indians and how they helped each other and learned from each other. I then gave him some examples of what I consider the right things to be thankful for...vs. material things. i.e.family food,shelter, etc. Then I asked him what he was Thankful for? He thought for a minute ...then said REMI !!!Lacey Barnhill/Jeremy Barnhill He had the biggest smile on his face!! Thats his cousin whom he thinks his just plain awesome!!! I was proud that he was paying attn. to my examples!!!! (family) Im sharing this b/c it was then that I realized everyone has something/someone to be thankful for! Even my 3yr old! HAPPY THANKSGIVING
