Brothers and sisters, persecution does not have to take the form of killing, or oppression. Persecution can be someone who mocks you for your faith in Jesus. Persecution can be someone who ignores you as you speak the Word of GOD. Persecution can be someone who questions your faith to produce doubt in you. Persecution can be someone treating you with contempt because you have made your state in Christ clear. Persecution can be any of many things, but it is no reason for you to give up your faith, or to step away from your GOD. He is your Creator, your Life, your Truth. I came to this understanding by the grace of GOD, when I started asking myself if I was truly of GOD, as nobody had sought to kill me (hehe). Persecution exists in many forms, but neither of those forms can ever overcome the wonderful grace by which GOD saves His people!
