Building Collaborative Relationships RCN in partnership with CollaborationNI are delighted to announce this event. Course Outline This 2 day workshop will support voluntary and community organisations to explore the kinds of thinking and attitudes we hold and the behaviours we demonstrate that can make it either easy or difficult to collaborate. The workshop will explore the “soft skills” which come into play in setting up and working within a collaborative partnership. It’s about developing and managing relationships in order to achieve long term success. Outcomes This is an interactive workshop and by the end of it you will be able to: Identify the benefits and challenges of collaboration. Analyse your personal values and beliefs about collaboration. Promote behaviours which support collaborative working. Develop a collaborative culture within your organisation. Target Groups This 2 day course will be of particular interest to: Directors, CEOs and managers of organisations Voluntary Board/Committee Members People who regularly work in collaboration with others People considering some form of collaborative working Development officers Neighbourhood and community workers Development consultants Date: 1st and 2nd October Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm each day Venue: Rural Community Network, 38a Oldtown Street, Cookstown, BT80 8EF Time: 9.30am- 4.30pm Cost: £50 (lunch will be provided) Facilitators are Stevie Johnston, Interaction Institute for Social Change and Grace Henry, Freelance Consultant.
