Buno Haansh (English: Wild Goose) - Based on a weakly written thriller from Samaresh Majumdar, this is a F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C presentation from Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury...neatly written screenplay with very free flowing natural dialogues, amazing cinematography with tense captivating sequences, extraordinary camerawork without unnecessary flamboyant camera jerks and brilliant veteran performance from Deb to finish it off...this is the first time I saw Deb actually acting and was unable to believe that he has improved so much that he could actually act so well...he fits the character of Amol very appropriately and delivers big time...I think he should do more of this kind of character roles alongside the mainstream idiotic hero stuff to come out of the label of mediocrity...all in all from a Bengali cinema perspective (strictly) Buno Haansh is certainly a very well made thriller that has the potential to keep the audience glued to their seats for 2.5 hours despite having a fairly weak storyline...if told to rate I would rate it at 6.5/10.
