Burned grass. candle rocks, Smoked cobbles, pitied garden Shaking earth, groaning, lyres Tambourines, sought in heaven. Tears of fire Flowed consistently, spewing blue Ashes, moon cried, the stars listened Sun shivered, paled, haze disobedient To the call of surrender, from pleading Amber of distress. And the clouds, heavy, burdened Fallen trees, stripped, naked, on their Back, carriages of titanium proud, stolen From pride, dignity of human remains. Voices wailed Afraid of poisoned fumes, waves tall A mountain of rotten garbage, birds Pined, plumes gone from deprivation Earth color blinded, green was black Sky was grey Phantom of desire, survived, lived to tell A tale of hope, courage, a renaissance Man awakened from sleep, in a timeless Space, felt nothing, heard, & saw no one.
