But we cant judge them because theyre living *their* truth, and who are we to say ours is better? I say: 1) Screw Western moral relativism. Their truth is a lie and we shouldnt even pretend to respect their ideology. Do we really believe in human rights, or is that just a political football? 2) We have let down the Yazidis in particular, and the Kurds in general. 3) We need to say f*ck you, Turkey, were going to support the Kurds 100%. Kurdish women are out there on the front lines fighting these a$$holes alongside their men, and we should be assisting them. 4) Western individuals or institutions giving moral, financial, personnel, or materiel support to ISIS, Boko Haram, or other such Islamofascist entities should be treated as enemies of the state, and prosecuted. However, they should NOT be thrown into indefinite detention in Guantanamo, which should be shut down. Because we should be representing the rule of civilized constitutional law where we hold certain human rights to be self-evident. The Constitution doesnt GIVE people those rights: people already HAVE them, it is the function of government to RECOGNIZE and PROTECT them. We cannot stoop to the level of these losers. Our Harvard Constitutional law graduate, Nobel Peace Prize-winning president who PROMISED to shut down Gitmo should recognize all that, but shame on all of us who voted for him for actually believing he would do what he said. Special shame on those who fell for it a second time: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. And extra special shame on the opposition party for fielding such pathetic losers in both races who kowtowed so much to their own backwards religious extremists that we rational independents who decide the elections couldnt take their candidates seriously either.
