Butlers $40 million shops on agenda: PLANS for a $40 million shopping centre in Butler will be assessed by the North West Metropolitan Development Assessment Panel next week.The five-person panel will consider plans for the Butler Marketplace on a Woolworths-owned property on Tuesday at the Wanneroo Civic Centre. According to the July 15 meeting agenda, plans for the 7.95ha site include a shopping centre with a town square, main street, liquor store, restaurant and other commercial and retail tenancies. The meeting will start at 3pm and the panel will consider plans for another Butler development at the same meeting, which includes a medical centre, tavern and showrooms at 40 Butler Boulevard.
