By 11pm, there were still 6 cyclists trying to get through Kobe...The last cyclist was escorted into the accommodation at 1am, having cycled since 7am. Dont even try to imagine... its extraordinary... impossible... Todays route takes us through Osaka and Kyoto, one of the top heritage areas in Japan -but we wont see anything unless it is on the side of the road. Thankfully the route is around 160km. Still little chance of getting in before sunset though...
