Especially staffies, pitbulls, bulldogs, boerboels, ridgebacks, rottweilers, german shepherds and huskies are targeted and used for fighting rings, not only locally, but also smuggled to Angola. Small dogs like yorkies, terriers, worsies and maltese are used as bait-dogs – just the most awful thing ever. Please make sure your dogs can’t escape from your property, your gates are secure and locked, animals micro chipped with a collar and tag. Also, if you see something suspicious, anything that appears out of the ordinary or strange, such as dogs being led, driven away or carried by people you would not expect to be accompanying such a dog, please raise the alarm and report it.
