By next year, when patents run out on 3d printers, the whole world will start to change. This is the technology that was numerical control of machines from the 1950+ years. Now these additive type machines can produce anything made from wood, plastic, metal, even food and living tissue. They have already been used to print a working gun, trinkets, other objects for aircraft, antique car parts and can even make another machine like themselves. Yes a 3d machine can even print a 3d machine that can be used to print a 3d machine. This is the machine that you can put in your livingroom or garage to make anything you can desire, to sell, or trade. This can make a poor man rich, or at least well off. Mass production will not be needed to make a replacement for a lawnmower part. Plans will be sent across the internet to make any product you wish. Catch, how about the business of selling the material to make these things. I bet that the machines will be practically given away the way printers for your computer are, just so that you will but the materials to make what you want the way you by ink for your printer.
