By not naming John Farrell as American League Manager of the Year, the BBWRA (allegedly, Baseball Writers of America--theyre supposed to KNOW the game) shows their ineptitude, partisanship, arrogance and complete lack of knowledge of the sport. One takes a team from worst to first and theres a better manager out there? Disgraceful, but thats what you get when you bring in bloggers with no experience in news-gathering, research or writing and old men with grudges who allow their petty biases to diminish any credibility the organization has. Boycott the BBWRA and send letters to this cult of writers expressing your dissatisfaction with how these shills vote on Hall-of-Fame candidates and best of, yearly candidates.
